Dippity Dog’s Climate Controlled Doggie Salon comes right to your door! The convenience and time saved is always appreciated. The dog stays on their turf and is not affected by any other barking or nervous dogs at the salon. It is a one-on-one process with my full attention from start to finish.

The salon has a fresh water tank used for the shampoo and rinse out, as well as a grey water tank to empty into if necessary. It has a large stainless steel bath to accommodate almost any size dog, with a multi-faceted shower heads to adjust for different needs and breeds. Those little ones don’t need the same pressure as would a wiry coated large dog, and I always ease up a bit around the face for comfort.

I only use products that I have personally tested. I also have specialty shampoo’s, such as soap free or oatmeal based sensitive skin shampoos as well as a flea dip shampoo when necessary. Then I use a conditioning rinse to further soften and treat the coat and skin, leaving them soft and ready to cuddle.

The Dippity Dog salon has an industrial hydraulic grooming table to lift and lower those larger or older dogs for a smooth transition in and out of the bath. It’s also used to blow dry and groom the dog. This is where I kick up the TLC a notch! I hand dry each pup to make it’s as anxiety free and hopefully as enjoyable an experience possible.  Using the hand held K9 Hot Blow Dryer allows for me to adjust to the specific needs of the dog. The cage drying technique of your local chain stores are a thing of the past. That long, tedious and sometimes cruel practice is just the opposite of the hands-on, tender approach I take with your dog. Not only is it a much quicker way to dry the coat, it blows out the undercoat from the roots and gets rid of more shedding hair than the Furminator or any other de-shedding tool I’ve ever used.

I really love dogs, and any time I find a way to make it easier on them, I find they make it easier on me. Loving them more is always a win-win!
